Wyatt is 3 months old today.

He is totally chillin., originally uploaded by kkirk78.

I started back at work today, the same day that Wyatt turned 3 months old. I'm so glad I got to be home that long. I started him in daycare yesterday and he did very good. He is such a good baby. He really only fusses if he is hungry or tired. He loves to talk, talk, talk. This morning when I left for work he was smiling as big as he could to me and just talking away. I wondered why at that moment he couldn't have been crying so it would have made it easier for me to walk away from him. He has discovered that he can sit up now (with assistance of course) so that is all he wants to do. The bumbo is a wonderful thing! We also got a kiddie pool which he seemed pretty indifferent about. He doesn't quite sleep through the night yet but he is pretty close. He goes down between 7:30 and 8pm and wakes up usually between 4 and 5am. It seems every week it has been just a bit later so hopefully it won't be long before it is a few more hours of sleep (for us both). He is really getting to be a lot fun and I can't wait for these next few months. It's so much fun to see him doing new things every week.

Apparently I've been busy

Ok...So I just realized it's been almost a month since I posted anything. Well, we've been quite busy. We sold our house in one week. A young guy is buying it. It is his first home. I go back to work on the 17th of July. So, I have begun packing since anyone that has kids knows how difficult it can be to get stuff done. I want to get as much packed as I can before I start back at work. We are still looking for a job for one of us back in Illinois. The goal is to get us back there and at least one of us have a job. Ideally I would like to stay at home and Toby would work full time but for now we'll take what we can find. We are moving into my grandma's old house in Morrison. She moved into a retirement village and has offered her house to us for awhile. We couldn't pass up the opportunity which is why we are moving now. We weren't planning on moving for a few years.

I went to Toby's parent's house last week. Mary Ann had knee replacement surgery so Wyatt and I went to help her out. They were soooo happy to get to spend a week with Wyatt.

Wyatt is almost 3 months old now. He is such a good baby. He really only cries when he is in the car. He doesn't like how his carseat sits back. He wants to sit right up. It's ok if I can sit in the back with him but horrible if it is just me :( Other than that, he is on a great schedule. He naps regularly and is in bed around 7:30-8 every night. He sleeps til 4am and wakes for a bottle and then sleeps til 7'ish. I wish I didn't have to go back to work. It will be hard to leave him.

Hopefully my next post will be soon saying that one of us has a job back in Illinois! We need all the luck we can get.
